A walk around Sibiu (Hermannstadt) today!, churches, grafitti, creepy water closet attendants and my neighborhood dog.

A collection of Romanian grafitti just down the street from my apartment.

Inside the Sibiu Catholic cathedral

Cool old house

wedding ceremony

The outer wall protecting the city of Hermannstadt...there is 3 fortified walls that were used to protect the city against attacks from the Ottoman Turks

OOOooooOOOO win a trip to Orange County! LOL!

A collection of public art grafitti at the bus stop

zidul asta e un spectacol gratuit, "This wall is a free show"

Thought my friend Hal would like this! LOL!

You have to pay this creepy guy that hangs out downstairs .50 Bani (.10 cents) to use these public bathrooms. And yes, he is a city employee. LOL!

Parcul Astra

This angel is missing a wing and locked behind bars

Old man watching people from his apartment window.

Society for commercial wine makers..I just like the sign

Brukenthal Museum of History which showcases this area of transylvania from Pre-historic man thru the Dacian period, Roman conquest and into settlement by the Saxons per order of the Hapsburgs. Cool gun collections..Not supposed to take pictures...but I managed to get a few. They want to sell you a book. For 17 Lei, I think you should be able to take photos.

Evangelical Saxon church (Lutheren). In 1989 right before the revolution the church had 15,000 members, after the revolution almost all the Saxons left Transylvania for Germany and now there is only about 1,500 left here.

Another wedding

My friendly neighborhood dog (#01770) let me feed him dog treats today as long as I scratched his belly for a bit. What a sweetheart I would love to bring him home :-(
